Staff News and Events

We put together staff publications to help you stay informed about what is going on in the organisation as well as other staff and health related news. These include the weekly staff bulletin which is normally issued every Wednesday by our Communications Team and Team Focus which is issued monthly.

A link to the bulletin will be set via email to invite you to read our new bulletin each week and the new edition of Team focus will be sent to line managers before being uploaded to the webpage.

Weekly Staff Bulletin

The weekly bulletin contains important business, operational and clinical updates, staff and organisation news and events and internal and external training dates.

We try to include as much information in full as possible but links will be provided to either websites or the pages on our site to provide further detail when required.

Staff Bulletin

Read it!

To read the bulletin online visit our Weekly Staff Bulletin page.

It is essential that you read the bulletin so you are aware of important updates - if a member of your team is unable to see the bulletin, please print them a copy.

If you are not receiving the bulletin email reminder - please contact CITS and ask to be added to the ALL PCH STAFF Groupwise list which is managed by them (please note: if you are new to PCH, it can take a couple of days to update this list following the issue of a new Groupwise account).

Take part

If you have any relevant information to be included, please email your content to  by 5pm on the Friday before. Urgent messages will be sent as and when required via Special Bulletin.

We want the bulletin to be a useful resource for all staff and so we welcome your comments and feedback. Please email these to

Team Focus

Team Focus is a monthly news sheet designed to help managers brief their team effectively and was developed in response to feedback from the Staff Survey.

We need your help to ensure all staff members are briefed face to face by their managers at least once a month, so that we can respond more quickly to feedback and involve staff earlier on decisions around the future of the company. It also helps to avoid information ‘blockages’, supporting more cohesive, open communications across the organisation from Board to staff and back again.
