Peninsula Community Health is a Community Interest Company - a new type of company for people who want to be involved in a business which benefits the community in which it operates. We are owned by our Members and company membership is available to all employees so they can participate fully in shaping the future of the organisation.
Being a member shows a commitment to our aims and vision and gives you a strong voice in the organisation. You have the opportunity to have a say in where we’re going and how we get there. It also shows a commitment to our aims and vision and gives you the right to vote for representatives on the Community Interest Forum, influence the recruitment of the Board, to apply to sit as a Director on the PCH Charitable Funds, and to vote on decisions at future Annual General Meetings.
All employees are automatically opted in to become a Member when joining the Company with an option to opt out by returning the opt out form (enclosing the Coodes card, sticker and lanyard) within a month of receipt to Communications Team, 4th Floor, Sedgemoor Centre, Priory Road, St Austell, PL25 5AS if you do not wish to become a Member.
Membership is what WE make it. Please help us to be the best we can by helping to shape the organisation for patients, colleagues and our local communities.
Only employees can be full members.
In time, we will also be inviting the public, partners and organisations we work with such as the League of Friends, Health Watch etc. to be associate members. This means they will be kept up to date with information but will not have voting rights.
