Helston Community Hospital will be opening its doors on the afternoon of 15 January from 2pm to 4.30pm to anyone who might be interested in joining local Community Nursing Teams.
The friendly teams will be available to have a chat with to discover about the role of a Community Nurse, our fantastic development opportunities and support available and current vacancies on offer.
The open afternoon is open to anyone who is a registered nurse and might be considering a role working within their local communities.
Paul Marston, Community Nurse Manager: “Our Community Nurses work to develop a wide-range of knowledge and skills to allow patients to be cared for their in their own homes. The care that is delivered to patients is broad; adding plenty of variety to your working day!
“The open day is open to anyone who has a caring nature and wants to help support those who receive care within their local villages and towns. Our Community Nursing team works closely with patients and carers to encourage people to make decisions about their own care – you really do get a sense of achievement out of the role!”
Positions available will be in the Helston, Hayle, Redruth, Camborne and Penzance surrounding areas.
If you’re unable to make the open afternoon but are interested in finding out more about roles available, please contact Paul Marston on: 07920 023386. Closing date for applications is 22 January 2016.
